How to Get There
Getting to Thassos is simple and straightforward, with several convenient options depending on how you prefer to travel.
By Plane
Fly into Kavala International Airport “Alexander the Great”, which serves both domestic and international flights. From the airport, the port of Keramoti is just a 10-minute drive, where frequent ferries connect you directly to the island.
By Ferry
Ferries run daily from Keramoti to Limenas (Thassos Town), with crossings taking around 30–40 minutes and departures every 30–60 minutes during the season.
There is also a second route from Kavala to Prinos, offering an alternative way to reach the island.
By Car
If you’re driving, the port of Keramoti is the main gateway to Thassos. It’s located about 40 minutes from Kavala and less than 2 hours from Thessaloniki, with easy road access throughout the journey.
